This Easter Rob was able to take off a couple days early so we could go down to….Vegas!!! We met Rob’s bro Aaron and his cute wife and kids.

Friday Rob and I had the day to ourselves so we stopped in St. George and did some eating, shopping, walking, and checkers:

Oh, I forgot to mention, my parents and their neighbors were extremely kind and watched our kids while we were gone :) THANK YOU! Friday evening found us back in Fillmore, and Saturday morning found us at the park across from my parents’ house. We were participating in an age-old tradition of “finding” Easter eggs and candy. This is what Morgan thought of the whole thing:
Mason did very well. Actually, he did well in that he was smart and ran to the middle of the section of grass where no other kids were and scooped up everything within arms reach…but…then he didn’t move beyond that.
That’s ok. He got three half-dollars and a couple quarters too. :) And everyone had fun which is all that matters!
The rest of the day was filled with NUMEROUS fun activities! I can’t even figure out how Rob and Mason did it all. There was--
- Some 22 shootin’ with dad at the range
- A four-wheeler ride up the mountains with Uncle Preston and dad
- Egg-dyin’ with the neighbors
- A hike up Ceder Mountain (notice Mason in the corner of the picture with his face to the ground-and then the stalk to his prey-haha!)
- We ate a lot of CUTE, CUTE, DELICIOUS cupcakes made by my friend at Sweetly Caked
- And then there was the EASTER HUNT! The Easter Bunny knows Great Granddad and Grandma Day’s house is the best place for an Easter egg hunt
Sunday morning Easter baskets were found on the couch, and then sadly we had to leave for home again. Church was beautiful, and I’m so grateful we were able to go (both to church and on our vacation)!!!
It was a weekend of pure fun!
