Insulin
Today (and every day since I was old enough to understand) I am grateful for medicine, advancements in medical technology, but mostly just plain, good old-fashioned, processed in a lab, expensive insulin. This is my lifeline. This is what keeps me alive. And I am so grateful to live in a time where I can get it, and if diligent can have about the same life expectancy as anybody else. A big thank you to all the ‘nerds’ out there who spend their lives researching, and making better, the medicine that keeps us “imperfect” ones alive!
I love this one. I'm so grateful you have this too. I know it might be weird, but seriously, I think of you every time I have a patient on this, my favorite little diabetic.
