Hiking!

Now that I have a camera, I kinda like to go hiking now. We went a few times in May. I’ll just post a bunch of pictures from a couple of the hikes. We usually go up to Snow Basin, but also going to the Divide. These are both from the Snow Basin area-although to different places/trails.

First some scenery:

We saw probably 20 of these big, fuzzy caterpillars on the hike. And every time we saw one the boys would have to stop and pet them or check them out.

So many different trails to try…

There were a few spills and tumbles…

…but at least we did well at staying hydrated.

And there were a lot of great views!

Morgan had to reach out and call someone who cared…

Here is the other area we usually hike:

Every SINGLE time we come hike this road the boys make it a point to stop, drop, and pick up rocks…every time…

Mason’s treasures; a rock and a bluebell. The last picture of this post was taken right as we were about to get in the car to go home. Notice that still has his little treasures in hand!

Morgan couldn’t seem to keep his fingers away from his nose that night for some reason.

We love to hike :)

May Days…

May included a lot of activities- pretty normal stuff. Two of the bigger things I have already posted about; one being preschool graduation, and the other being our big RS activity.

A few of the other little things we did in May:

Haircuts-

Neighborhood fris-bee over the fence-

Hanging with friends-

The garden project-we are in the process of replacing all weed-laden areas with black plastic and then red brick on top. We also got a couple nice whiskey barrells which at some point in the future will contain flowers.

The train station (of course). Yes, they are just pouring over that map. Mason did not let go of it for two hours! He just held it looking at it and telling me which train was coming when, and where we needed to meet Princess Celestia and Applejack (My little ponies).

And of course, HAFB-

We went on a couple awesome hikes too, but they will be separate posts. I’ll also post Memorial Day weekend…someday…
